Postgraduate Diploma Programmes (Course work/Project report)
i. Full-time students: 2 semesters or 12 calendar months
ii. Part-time students: 4 semesters or 24 calendar months
iii. Sandwich students: 3 long vacation periods, each of 10 weeks duration.
Master’s Degree Programme
i. Full-time Master’s degree by course work and thesis
Minimum duration: 3 semesters or 18 calendar months
Maximum duration: 6 semesters or 36 calendar months
ii.
Part-time Master’s degree by course work/project report/dissertation
Minimum duration: 4 semesters or 24 calendar months
Maximum duration: 8 semesters or 48 calendar months

Ph.D Programmes
i. Full-time students:
Minimum duration: 4 semesters or 24 calendar months;
Maximum duration: 10 semesters or 60 calendar months.
ii. Part-time students:
Minimum duration: 6 semesters or 36 calendar months;
Maximum duration: 14 semesters or 84 calendar months.
Failure to Complete Programme within the Maximum Duration of Study
Any student who fails to complete his diploma/degree programmes within
the maximum duration shall be deemed to have withdrawn from the programme.
However,
should there be any extenuating circumstances the SPGS may recommend
to Senate extensions of the maximum duration period as may be justified
by such circumstances. Such extensions shall not exceed twenty-four
(24) calendar months.
