There are clubs and associations for FUTY alumni around the world. The committees are always on the look-out for new volunteers and members, so please contact the Alumni Relations Office (alumni@futy.edu.ng) for further information. FUTY Alumnus Associations in Nigeria

With its own global Internet connect via FUTY yahoo groups, FUTY Alumnus Association is one of the most formidable, united and reputable alumni associations in Nigeria. Originally established in 1995 to help unite, aid and connect all Alumni all over the world, the Association also helps to keep alumni informed about the University.

As alumni, you are eligible to join the Alumnus Association, which has its own membership, separate to the University's Alumni Relations Office and the General Council. Twice a year, members receive the Visitor, which contains articles, book reviews, short stories and poems in English, plus matters of University record.

Those who live in the Yola area or who are willing to travel to Yola, may receive details of a programme of activities, including special lectures, open-day visits and trips out and about in the Yola metrolpolis.

 Departmental Alumni Associations

The Federal University of Technology Yola has various Departmental Alumnus Association with the following objectives:

(a) to maintain links between members and the Department
(b) to promote discussion on departmental subject matters and its local, national and international role
(c) to establish a corporate spirit encompassing past, present and future students
(d) to strengthen the "FUTY Schools/Faculties"

These departmental alumnus associations continues to be very active, keeping its members up to date with education in FUTY and maintains contact between graduates. The association also aims to promote links with current students and to lobby on behalf of the industry in general and education in particular.

Course Programme Alumni Associations

The Federal University of Technology Yola maintains various Graduates Association from specific fields or course of study with the following objectives:

(a) to maintain links between members and the Department
(b) to promote discussion on courses or fields of study and its local, national and international role
(c) to establish a corporate spirit encompassing past, present and future students
(d) to strengthen the "FUTY School/Faculty"

These associations continues to be very active, keeping its members up to date with education in FUTY and maintains contact between graduates.  The association also aims to promote links with current students and to lobby on behalf of the industry in general and education in particular.
